Alba • The Blind Queen

Alba wants to discover who the prince/princess ruler might be.  She wants to either team up or remove him/her in order to rule as long as possible.

She’s the de-facto queen having married Farley Willmar, the regent of Minneslavia, Duluth area.  He was placed as the figurehead when the Lord Ruler Bazil was banished, but it is Alba who wields the power. She has been blinded by a white effect - the worst kind - but still has the instincts of a tyrant.  She has a baby with the Woodcutter Ricardo (secret), Bazil’s only brother, hoping it will be the new Princess Ruler. But baby Cerahwac did not get the mark of the ruler by the age of 18, so Alba is now looking for another trace of the bloodline and find out who must be the ruler in waiting.

Age 39. Alba is attractive but is no longer aging well. Her eye patches don’t help. She wears all kinds of royal gowns these days, but often they aren’t hanging right, and her handlers don’t feel the need to adjust. She’s blind and not that thankful. She has a wide fake smile, thin face and her auburn hair is matted. In her dreams it’s perfectly silky and flowing. She has eyes that look to define you.
